I am very excited to have ‘Swimming in Hong Kong’ reviewed by Jennifer S. Deayton in Prairie Schooner. It’s interesting to me what stories resonate with people–it reveals to me the significance of the reader and what the reader brings to the communication. She discussed the story ‘Languages’ which was the first story that was published in this collection. It won the Nimrod Literary Journal’s Katherine Anne Porter Prize for fiction. I really appreciate people taking the time to read the book and write about it.
